Everyone speaks at a different pace — and the same person speaks faster in a video than in a live talk. Speed control lets the scroll follow you, not the other way around.
Try It FreeUse the plus and minus buttons, or the up and down arrow keys while paused, to change the scrolling speed from 0.25x up to 4.0x. Each arrow press moves the speed by 0.25x, giving you fine control instead of a few coarse steps.
Start a little slower than you think you need, then nudge the speed up as you settle in. Because you can change it at any moment, you can speed through a familiar section and slow right down for a tricky name or number.
Everything is on the keyboard: space to play or pause, arrows to change speed or jump lines. You never have to look away from the script to reach for a slider, which keeps your delivery smooth.
